Technology can be made to understand the users. It seems that the scenario that is being run by Gmail, a free electronic mail facilities from Google, with the service they called Mail Goggles. This latest feature was launched in order to prevent the account holder to send an email that they regret in the future.
Initially, Mail Goggles created from many people because of remorse send email in the middle of the night after the party, fainting because they were under the influence of alcohol. Attendance is expected that this feature could be a savior for those who like to send email without thinking long-term.
Creator of this feature antique feature, Jon Perlow, say that anyone should not hesitate if it is true this new features save them from shame. He admitted that the creation of this feature is based on human nature, which sometimes have weaknesses in the living.
“Sometimes I send the message that I should not tell, like when I confess to feeling a girl I like, or when sending email in the middle of the night to my ex-boyfriend to take it back to me,” Perlow said in the blog, such as This Associated Press, Thursday (8/10/2008).
For saved by this feature, the owners must change Gmail account setting. The page is located at the top of Gmail and then go to the section Labs. From there, Gmail users can follow the existing guidelines to use Mail Goggles.
For information, the name Goggles for these services comes from the term ‘beer goggles’ inspired from someone event who presentable difficult to distinguish the men and not when already started fainting because of alcohol.
